A walk over the peninsula Caracas bay

A beautiful situated peninsula with not only extensive flora and fauna, but also the fort Beeckenburg, one of Curacao's ancient forts built in 1701 is still in excellent condition. An attack on this fort by the British in 1807 was beaten off. The small sulfur house, the quarantine hospital. Caracasbay island is nowadays turned into an ecopark.
